SOLAR SMA represents the further evolution of the systems, harnessing the alternative energy of the sun. The barriers are equipped with a mini solar panel film, mounted on the top of the screen to continuously charge the batteries inside the columns, which are capable of powering the circuitry and optics.
The barriers are always of the WS type with a number of beams ranging from 2 to 6, with optical synchronization and a maximum range of 50 meters. They must be interfaced with the alarm control panel using traditional transmitters for radio systems available on the market for alarm and tamper signals.
The battery life, although shorter than that of the batteries used in WS SMA products, is guaranteed for at least 3 months, considering periods of absence. The panel ensures battery charging with 20% of daylight. The low battery warning and disqualification output can be remotely managed through dedicated outputs on the control board.
The two columns that make up the pair of the SANDOR SOLAR SMA barrier with 2 or 3 beams are compatible with the PARVIS SOLAR SMA barrier 2+2 or 3+3.
